During check in I was told the rate per room was twice as high as the price I had been given while online booking. Instead of paying 32pppn I was asked to pay 64pppn! This price supposidly included a breakfast which I had not opted for during online booking.

~*~ Nite Nite Hotel, Birmingham ~*~ My boyfriend and I are always going away for weekends to visit friends who are spread out across the whole of the UK. I love visiting different places, however, as you can imagine, it ends up being quite expensive in petrol and leisure costs alone without adding hotels to that! Therefore, we are always on the lookout for nice hotels at a bargain price, and Nite Nite in Birmingham was one of the latest of these trials. ~*~ The location ~*~ The hotel is located at 18 Holliday Street in Birmingham. The location of the hotel is very good - 5 minutes away from Birmingham New Street station, 10 ... Read the complete review

Update: I discovered that new street station is 5 minutes away if a shortcut was taken ( rahther than 1/2 h) which therefore puts it a lot closer to the bullring. For two days, great! But I thunk cabin fever would have sink in if I stayed on longer. I came to this hotel with no idea what it really looks like. All i know was that it is supposed to be cheap and therefore, my company picked it to stay for a burinss trip. At £62 for a night including breakfast, it doesn't seem that cheap to me though. However I suspect that the corporate rate is more expensive than what I would have paid for it if I had book it personally online. (from what I have just discovered ... Read the complete review

We stopped at this hotel for 1 night while attending a friend's wedding reception in the city centre. We found the location really good, 15 min walk to the shops (Bullring/city centre - The Mailbox was slightly nearer) and 2 mins walk to broad street bars. Nice walk along the canal to the NIA. Free parking outside the hotel from 6pm saturday and all day sunday too - saved us a fortune! The first thing you will notice about the rooms is that they are very small, you are prepared for this following the description on their website (http://www.nitenite.com), but you don't realise how small until you open the door! The room is the size of the double bed - you ... Read the complete review

After a discussion with my boyfriend we decided to combine coming away for the weekend for our 'anniversary' and Christmas shopping. We finally decided on a location: Birmingham. We chose this after various recommendations that the shopping at the Bullring was excellent. So, my job was to now search the internet for somewhere central yet affordable. Impossible, you might think! But it wasn't and I booked the Nitenite hotel in Birmingham for the 21st November, via the internet. Nitenite Birmingham has 104 rooms and their idea is creating an affordable room with style and innovation. And they succeed at this. The perfect place if all you want is a place to ...
