The cream of metropolitan dining (Nobu)
Member Name: buffalo
Advantages: Unusual, fabulous food Disadvantages: Perhaps overly self-concious
Despite bags of hype and countless breathlessly glowing reviews, Matsuhisa Nobuyuki’s remarkable restaurant still consistently delivers the goods. Take Japanese-slanted dishes and give them imaginative South American twists and you have a quite unique and quite brilliant dining experience. For the full blowout, fork out for the ‘omakase’ set meal and allow the chef to make all the hard decisions for you. Located within the ultra-chic Metropolitan Hotel, you’ll feel like you’re somebody eating at Nobu, even without the knowledge that Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts chowed down here in Notting Hill. Very expensive, but worth it. Summary: |
