Best place we've stayed in for a while! (Novotel Reading Centre (Reading))

Advantages: Clean & tidy rooms, nice bathroom

Disadvantages: Very expensive breakfast's!

Me and my girlfriend stayed in this Novotel a couple of months back and I have to say that it is the best place we have stayed in in a very long time!

It is situated near the centre of reading not far from a few bars and the main train station. It doesn't have it's own dedicated parking but there was a car park about a minute away which was at a reduced rate if you stayed there. I think we paid a fiver for 24 hour parking.

When we entred the room we were very impressed. It was well laid out, very very tidy and clean and the bed was massive and very comfy. The bathroom was exceptional and the shower was amazing. The toilet has it's own seperate room which is weird at first but I guess makes sense if someones using the shower and someone needs to use the loo.

There was only 1 downside to the Novotel and that was the price of the breakfasts, a quick glance of the menue in the room revealed that an English full breakfast was £17 each. Ouch! Luckily there is a weathspoons a quick walk down from it where you can get a massive breakfast for under 4 quid!

We were quite lucky as we managed to bag the room for £59.00 as we booked it quite late, that wasn't including breakfast though. If you are looking at staying in Reading then I would whole heartedly recommend this establishment!
