Just returned from a 3 night break in Stirling, where we stayed at the Highland Hotel which is part of the Paramount group of Hotels. First time staying with the chain and I have to say both my wife and I were thoroughly impressed. The rooms were more than adequate and maintained to a high standard. The food was excellent (especially the breakfast) and if you stay on a DBB basis very good value. The leisure facilities were good, although a little small. The main commendation though goes to the staff - they were friendly, informative and courteous and really made us feel like valued customers.
