Each room has a computer modem point with free wi-fi a multi-channel tv, in house video and tea and coffee making facilities. I did find the temperature of the room could be a bit of an issue. If you leave the radiator on the room gets extremely hot and you will have to open the windows. When we arrived in the room and the radiator had been left on full, making it like a sauna when we opened the do...more

Premium Review Paramount Hotel: Luck of the Irish with this one! (884 words)
by - written on 18/03/09 (Very useful, 98 readings)
Rating:

The hotel is located in central Dublin. The hotel décor is 1930's and promoted as a boutique hotel. Despite the 1930's theme, with muted colours and a lot of black and white the hotel is modern and very clean. The hotel is in good condition and the public areas are kept very clean and tidy. Location The hotel is located in Temple Bar's West End next to lots of bars and restaurants. It's about a 30 second walk to the banks of the River Liffy. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to Grafton Street and O'Connell Street where you will find an abundance of shops. The hotel entrance is on a side street however from the main street the hotel is visable ...  Read the complete review

Rating:

Paramount Street, Temple Bar This Hotel only opened last year and I can thoroughly recommend it. The interior is very like the 1930’s all those muted colours but is still thoroughly modern; it’s very simple and elegant lots of dark wood and subtle colours. Each room has a computer modem point a multi-channel tv, in house video and plenty of refreshments on hand. You can dine bistro style or in the main restaurant with plenty of choice. It’s also very reasonable to stay; I paid £70.00 per room per night with ...  Read the complete review
