Newest Review: ... away from the hotel. St Helens Central train station is also reported to be a short walk away, although I did not go there myself. The hotel is located not far from town, and is close to a number of shops, most of which are places to grab a quick bit to eat. Tesco's is also nearby, which I thought was great in terms of convenience. I stayed in the Park Inn in St Helen's for a single night back in July 2009. It was basically a place for me and my partner to stop over as we were attending a wedding around the area and it was a four hour drive to get back home. Staying the night somewhere local made things a lot easier. At the same time we did not want to pay over the odds for a room that we would only be using for sleeping so I thought that the Park Inn would be a cost-effective choice.
