Newest Review: ... away from the hotel. St Helens Central train station is also reported to be a short walk away, although I did not go there myself. The hotel is located not far from town, and is close to a number of shops, most of which are places to grab a quick bit to eat. Tesco's is also nearby, which I thought was great in terms of convenience. It was great being next to places that sold food, as late at night when me and my partner were quite hungry, we decided to go out and grab what was a very yummy burger rather than order off of a slightly bland looking room service menu. I stayed in the Park Inn in St Helen's for a single night back in July 2009. It was basically a place for me and my partner to stop over as we were attending a wedding around the area and it was a four hour drive to get back home. Staying the night somewhere local made things a lot easier. At the same time we did not want to pay over the odds for a room that we would only be using for sleeping so I thought that the Park Inn would be a cost-effective choice.
