But this seemed to me to be honest value for money, and I left feeling quids in rather than feeling I'd been exploited. The biggest factor in this was perhaps the location - a bit out of the main city, but totally walkable and nice and quiet. The views ... more

I really enjoyed my stay at the Premier Inn on the Albert Docks. I went earlier this year, and the stay could not have been better. It was supremely good value and I felt I was staying in somewhere really in the heart of historical Liverpool. I became totally fascinated with the history of the Albert Docks after this visit, as the rooms themselves are built into the old dockyard warehouses. Even the pulley's remain, outside your window, which would have hauled sacks and packages up to the upper level of the warehouses. Cleanliness was high. It's not a five star hotel, and no-one expects that level of luxury. But this seemed to me to be honest value for money, ...  Read the complete review

I recently stayed at the Liverpool Albert Dock Premier Travel Inn as I was attending a conference at the nearby ACC (Liverpool Conference Centre). I recently stayed at the Premier Inn Liverpool Albert Dock while I was on a training course for work being held in the nearby BT Convention Centre. I normally discuss what led me to make a certain choice of hotel when I come to review them, but in this instance the choice was made for me by my department's budget holder - in other words, this was the cheapest hotel in the vicinity! This also means that I cannot comment directly on what the Premier Inn booking experience is like; I can, however, say the customer service people at their website are prompt to respond to emails and are very helpful, as I contacted them to confirm check-in details and got a friendly reply in ...  Read the complete review
