Advantages: Such comfortable beds, location, free parking
Disadvantages: No air conditioning
We booked this hotel during the school summer holidays and we were not disappointed. We managed to get a real bargain as we paid £49 in the premier inn sale for two adult, two children and one baby in a cot.
Our bed was really conmfortable and I love the fact they now have a 'choose your pillow' choice. The girls did not think there bed was as comfortable as ours but it done the job and it was only a one night stay.
The staff had made the cot up for us on arrival with blankets and everything, and we did arrive a little earlier than the specified time but they let us check in which was a bonus.
We stayed on a Friday night and it just happened to be scorching hot which was great whilst we were out but when we tried getting asleep we found it really hard due to the heat in the bedroom. They did provide a rotating fan but my daughter kept sneaking over to press the button to keep it on her rather than rotating as it really was that hot.
There is an adjoining restaurant and they have an all you can eat buffet on a Friday night which is fish and chips themed but this does change depending on what night you stay. The good thing is they have a little play area which iis free of charge whilst you are dining so the kids can have a little play whilst you are waiting for your food.
The other great thing is the location and the free parking, you just walk through a little gate in the car park, over the bridge and up a road and you are on the promenade right next to the pleasure beach (10 mins) and you get to park for free which is brilliant.
I have already booked to go back to this hotel to see the illuminations as it really is a little hidden treasure.
Summary: A great hotel if going to the pleasure beach
