Advantages: Massive purple bed

Disadvantages: Not close enough to the city centre

Premier Inn kicks the backside of Travel Lodge. After staying at Travel Lodge in Hereford I assumed that's about as good as you'd get for that kind of thing in Hereford. But oh no no, Premier Inn is awesome.

I have got a little carried away with my obsession with this place since staying their but I don't care. It's great.

I have only stayed in double rooms, so I can't say what the others are like (I'll wager they're great though).

The beds are HUGE and extremely comfy. You get a sofa type thingy as well as your bed. The art on the walls, actually looks like modern art instead of some rot that someone else didn't want, picked up from a boot sale.
The luscious purple colour scheme floats my boat too. I might do MY house like that one day........ when I get one.

You get a shower AND a bath in your en-suite bathroom.
Everything is always spotless and in good nick. The coffee making stuff is always well-stocked and ready to roll, with yummy biscuits for my belly.

Cardboard cutouts of Lenny Henry in a big yellow dressing gown just make the whole experience even more enjoyable for me.
The nearest pub is about 20 paces away and serves up some fine grub and a decent pint.

This Premier Inn is easy to find on the North side of town. Does require a taxi or a bit of a trek if you want to go into the city centre though.

£53 is a very reasonable price for what you get. It's not the prison atmos that you assume when you clock these places from the road. It's actually rather good!!!
