Radisson Manchester Airport

I have stayed here many times when flying from Manchester Airport and my husband and I have found it very convenient.

The Radisson SAS Hotel Manchester Airport is conveniently located between Terminals 1 and 2, The Radisson is directly connected to Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 by the Skylink, a covered moving walkway. Terminal 3 is accessible by foot or via the transfer bus. The hotel is also easily accessible by car, coach, train and of course by air.

Manchester Airport Train Station and Manchester Airport Bus Station are both situated in the heart of the airport complex which provides a direct connection to the hotel by the covered moving walkway. Direct bus and rail links are available to a vast number of destinations across the North West.

Manchester Airport is located 8 miles south of the Manchester City Centre with easy access to Junction 5 on the M56 motorway. The hotel offers on site car parking for 222 cars or long-term parking options, available to all hotel guests at a daily charge.

The Radisson offers two catergories of room - we have stayed in both catergories. All 360 rooms are air-conditioned and bedrooms are available in a variety of styles: Italian, Scandinavian, Maritime and Oriental - depending on what floor of the hotel you stay on.

Rooms enjoy panoramic views of Manchester and Cheshire from the ninth floor by upgrading to a Business Class Room. All rooms at the Radisson SAS Hotel Manchester Airport are fully equipped with extensive facilities, all rooms include Complimentary WI-FI.

The hotel has 2 restaurants and one bar. The food can be very expensive with a main course costing around £25 per person. Drinks are also expensive around £15 for two glasses of wine!

A normal room costs around £175 per night including breakfast, a Business Class Room costs around £250 per night including breakfast.

The advantages of having a Business Class room are - free in room movies, sparkling water, bathrobes and the room is on a higher floor.

All the rooms are very comfortable and we have only taken advantage of the Business Class rooms when they have been on a special deal.

Special parking deals are available - room only with 7 or 14 nights parking for around £200. This means when you get back from holiday you only have a short distance to walk from the terminals to the Radisson and your car is in their car pack waiting for you.

Just to say - if you book a room only deal then breakfast costs £17 per person - it is very expensive so if we can we always book a room with breakfast. We stay in Scotland and Manchester is over 200 miles away so we find this hotel suits our needs very well at holiday time - it's a nice treat before a ling haul flight.

Try it and see what you think!

Thanks fpr reading my review and hope it has been helpful!
