The Ramada Jarvis Abbey Park, once a Georgian town house, is just 5 minutes walk from the city centre. It's a short drive to some of Yorkshire's major attractions including Harrogate, Leeds and the Yorkshire Moors.
With an excellent restaurant, friendly bar and 5 Summit Conference rooms, you'll find the hotel ideal for business or pleasure.
The hotel has 85 rooms.

      Disadvantages

Convenient for city centre of York, 30 minutes drive from Leeds

This hotel is situated close to the centre of York, which is about a thirty minute drive from Leeds. It has the usual facilities which most large hotel groups offer these days. Prices can vary depending on the time you visit, but look out for special offers.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are pleasant and helpful.

Food and drink are satisfactory, but can be pricey. The hotel offers good facilities for the business or leisure traveller, but lacks character. It is just a normal run of the mill hotel, but then you are assured of certain standards by using these chain hotels.

I would say that if you are visiting York and want good clean accommodation of a good standard then this hotel would be okay, but if you want to stay in something characteristic of this historic city then look elsewhere.
