We walked into the reception area to be met by the unsmiling faces of two male employees, one of them, the most unfriendly and unhelpful was called ******. He booked us in, barely speaking to us, even when prompted we received no response from him other than a few grunts. This hotel is located in Glasgows city centre right next to lots of shops and takeaways. The hotel is really modern and has recently decorated in a contempory style. The hotel offers a wide range of services which would be expected from the ramada brand. The hotel is about 10 miles away from the airport and they operate a free shuttle bus to and from the hotel. The hotel is easily accessed from the local bus and train services making onward travel easy. Food in the hotel is very expensive but there is lots of other places to eat nearby. Ramada, Glasgow City, 201 Ingram Street, Glasgow G1 1DQ. My sister and I stayed at this hotel on Saturday June the 9th 2007, we were in room 309. The hotel is being renovated at the moment; however, I don’t think you’ll want to stay here even after the renovation once you’ve read this review.
