Advantages: Central London location
Disadvantages: Quite expensive
This is an absolutely luxurious (and as London prices go, not too expensive) hotel which has 396 guestrooms including 37 suites. Many of the rooms have lovely views over Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. The rooms are absolutely luxurious and have marble bathrooms, high-speed Internet access, DVD and CD players, safe and minibar.
There are 11 meeting rooms, a fully equipped Health Club & Spa featuring a wide variety of gym facilities and beauty and massage treatments both cosmetic and therapeutic.
The hotel is located on Kensington high street, within the heart of fashionable Kensington. Although this hotel is exclusive it is unpretentious, and combines English elegance with an excellent level of service. It is very close to some of the best shops in London, and a great place to base yourself for a London break.
My visit was paid for by someone else, so I can't tell you exactly how much it cost, but i don't think i could afford it otherwise.
I would highly recommend it if you can afford it and are looking for somewhere special to stay in London.
Summary: A luxurious well located hotel
