... went on a trip to Edinburgh with the missus for the weekend to do the usual touristy stuff and to have a weekend to ourselves, plus she got the room for £19 one night and £9 for the other so how could I refuse. Hotel Tigh Na Mara (Dumfries & Galloway) ... the end of November - my Dad was married in Scotland. He booked the Tigh Na Mara hotel out for all the family, this included all the rooms they hotel has so I can helpfully rate the hotel as a whole. The hotel offers bed and breakfast accommodation. The hotel also has a bar/pub, and around the back is a restaurant. Both of these are open to the public. The picture which is displayed for the Tigh Na Mara isn t correct - I will attach the correct picture. Location The Tigh Na Mara Hotel is situated in Sandhead, which is a village in Stranraer, Scotland. It is within a stones throw of a stretch of sandy beach, which is unspoilt. Travelodge Edinburgh Dreghorn ... November I received an email from Travel Lodge informing me of their sale of rooms in some of their hotels. We had been planning a trip to Edinburgh to do some Christmas and visit friends so decided to see what was on offer in the area. As I wanted to be able to park without having to pay overnight I decided on the Travel Lodge at Dreghorn, 6 miles from the city centre. If you do decide to book a travel Lodge in the city be aware most have no parking and you will have to pay to park elsewhere. Travelodge Aberdeen Central ... stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend and his brothers for two nights in October for a family visit. The hotel was chosen and booked for us by my boyfriends Dad who knows the area better than us. I am not sure of the exact price, but I believe it cost around £50 a night for each room. We had two rooms, a double for myself and my boyfriend, and a family room for his two brothers. Before our visit I did something I shouldn t, I looked the hotel up on Trip Advisor. The reviews of this hotel on tripadvisor are awful. I wasn t too worried, we were literally just using this hotel to sleep in and get showers, we would be spending very little time there at all.
