Even though the décor didn't bother me too much, I do think that the rooms here are in desperate need of updating or even just a fresh coat of paint and new bedding in most cases. Even though I come from Grimsby, I have also stayed in one of the hotels there. In the town centre is the St. James which is the biggest hotel in the centre of Grimsby. Other large hotels are available on the outskirts of town but nothing as close to the shops and pubs. The St. James has 125 rooms, all of which have en-suite, free Wi-Fi and tea/ coffee making facilities. Each room also has a TV. Available are single, double and twin rooms. During my stay, I chose a double room as I was there with my boyfriend at the time. The room was quite large and spacious although the décor was pretty dated.
