THIS IS OUR SECOND VISIT SINCE SEPTEMBER 2007 AND WE FIND THE NEW OWNERS ARE DOING A VERY GOOD JOB. THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND THE ROOMS AND BEDDING ARE VERY CLEAN ALSO THE FOOD IS COOKED TO PERFECTION. RUTH IS AN EXCELLENT LAND LADY AND SHE IS VERY WELL SUPPORTED BY HER HUSBAND AND THE REST OF HER STAFF. THERE IS A VARIED MENU AT DINNER TIME AND WITH THE COMFORTABLE LOUNGE AND BAR FACILITIES THE HOTEL HAS MUCH TO BE ADMIRED FOR AND WE WILL BE BACK FOR MORE IN THE NEW YEAR. It was out of necessity really that we visited this hotel. We were attending a wedding, and typical of myself, had left the booking of the hotel till the last minute, and all the nearby hotels were fully booked. It was enough when we got there just to find a nice enough looking hotel with clean rooms (We were a little worried by the rather drab appearance of the hotel next door!). The hotel itself only has 12 bedrooms, all from what I can gather of typical size. ( I did ask some of the other guests). Our room was a small double with ensuite shower facilities.
