I attended the Stone House Hotel, Stone for a wedding in October 2006 and must say I found the service and quality of food extremely disappointing.

Firstly, the hotel forgot to present flowers to the bride that I had ordered especially for the occasion. On arriving for the reception I found my name on a seating plan but no place had been laid for me. Strawberries served were mouldy. Vegetables were hard and uncooked and roast potates were uneatable because too much salt was added. And - whoever heard of serving nearly raw cabbage for a wedding meal??

All in all very poor quality. I would definately not recommend this hotel for a meal let alone a wedding reception.
