In July 2008 my mum and I were invited to attend a wedding in Ayr. We were quite excited at the prospect as we haven't really been able to go away together since my father had taken ill last year. Knowingly my mother is the kind of lady who doesn't like fuss and as such we were recommended to consider two possible venues of stay in Ayr that were close to the church where the ceremony was being held. Both owned and run by a company called Costley & Costley hoteliers, a Google search revealed that one of their hotels, called the "Brigadoon House hotel" charged extremely expensive prices per room and we worked out that because of its location over looking the ...
