I've just returned from an absolutely fantastic weekend in Whitley Bay. I went with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. I had heard that Whitley Bay wasn't as busy as it use to be, if that was true then I couldn't image what it must have been like. Whitley Bay was absolutely jam packed. Really, Really Busy! What an atmosphere there is in this town, everyone really wants to party and everyone, especially the geordies. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who likes a really lively & fun packed weekend. Anyway, enough about Whitley Bay, I am here to recommend The Chedburgh in Whitley Bay, what a guest house this is. I have stayed in many a B&B in this country but none have matched the Chedburgh. The rooms are spotlessly clean, modern with flat screen tv's, DVD players and even Sky Sports. Breaksat was great, fresh and really tasty. They've even got a big flat screen TV in the dinning room, which was great for match of the day at breakie! In my opinion this guest house is by far the best in Whitley Bay, a few of my mates stayed in other places and they were really basic...none of the refinements found at The Chedburgh. Next time I'm back in Whitley Bay I am definately going to the Chedburgh.....make sure you book early coz they are always really busy....Gotta Give it FIVE STARS! visit their website http://www.chedburgh-hotel.co.uk loads of good info there!
