I stayed here back in April ('07), and was delighted by all aspects of my visit to Brighton & Hove - helped greatly by the truly luxurious hotel rooms and handy (almost) seafront location of The Claremont! On Second Avenue in Hove, the hotel is about 10 - 15 mins walk to the middle of town, but a leisurely stroll past "The Lawns" on a sunny day made it seem more like 5 minutes! There are plenty of nice restaurants near the hotel if you can't be bothered with the bustle of the city centre, and buses and taxis are plentiful. Inside the hotel, the rooms were lovely!
