Upon check in, the attendant said "Welcome to the Dorchester", however once she had found my booking she began to apologised and said, "I am so sorry, welcome BACK to The Dorchester". I have now stayed at The Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, twice now and i have to say that on both occasions the service, attentive but not over-powering, the consideration, decor, space, cleanliness and personlisation is second to non. It is one of the most well known hotels in the world and this hotel has been called home by some of the most well known people in the world from Members of Parliament to Actors. I have little experience of London hotels because until the middle of last year I was a resident and had no cause to stay in any of them. All that has changed now I reside in Bermuda and on business trips, I always try to sneak in a stopover in London to see my beloved city once again and to stock up on vital supplies such as new dresses, handbags and shoes. February this year was my first opportunity to do so and I decided that I would like to experience one of the most famous hotels in the city, The Dorchester.
