In September this year my sons rugby team where invited to Ballina County Mayo, for a rugby tournament, as this is three hours drive from where we live we decided that an overnight stay was a must. So a group of very willing parents got together and travelled in a convoy to Southern Ireland. Prior to our trip I had accessed all the hotels on the net and found the Downhill Inn, I had originally tried to book into their sister hotel but because of the ruby tournament and the fishing competition it was booked out and they referred me to the Downhill Inn.
