The falcon Inn On our way to Scarborough one weekend, we had to stop off for food, and because we didn't know the area at all, the place we chose was always going to be a lottery. Willing to take our chances, this small pub situated on the quiet road seemed a good bet. Situated within the North Yorkshire Moors national Park on the A171, the pub is 7 miles from scarborough and 11 miles from Whitby. The coastal villages of Staithes and Robin hood bay are a short drive away as is Eden Camp, so it's probably quite a good place to stay if you want a base for looking round the area.
