A trendy London Hotel (The Hoxton Hotel (London))
Member Name: f1re_cr4cker
Advantages: Free Wifi and nice rooms! Disadvantages: a little expensive This hotel is in a rather less major part of London (nearest station is Moorgate) down a not perhaps so lovely street (at least it didn't seem that great in the dark!). As you walk into the Hotel it immedaitely looks very modern with comofrtable trendy sofas and chairs and a cocktail bar to the side. I can't comment on the cocktails as I did not have enough time and from what I have heard since are VERY expensive! Our room was a double and we got it in their famous £1 SALE!!! Now this really was the bargain of the century so is well worth keeping an eye on their website for this as they do a few a year! In my room was a comfortable kingsize bed, flatscreen tv, FREE wifi access and a lovely bathroom with a shower and some lovely bath/shower products that I now can't remember then name of! The breakfast which was included (again a total bargain) was a banana, fresh orange juice and a yoghurt granola all from pret a mange! There was also a complimentary newspaper. The couple of members of staff that I spoke to were lovely - polite and friendly which was also really nice (yes i really do appreciate this kind of thing!) The normal rate of this room I believe is approx £160 so a little expensive but for the quality of the room and location I can kind of understand it. This is a hotel I would definately go to again! Summary: A modern hotel with good facilities |
