When we needed to check in, we had to call one of the staff to let us in as there is no-one at reception after 8pm. The lady that came and met us outside the hotel was ever so cheerful even though it was 10pm and she had left her own home in her pyjamas to come and get us settled in! Me and my partner stayed at The Neo a few weeks ago. The Neo is a small 'boutiquey' hotel with a total of 9 rooms which have all been personally decorated by the owner. Location: The Neo is in a fairly good location. Although it is not incredibly close to Brighton Pier (the main/most famous Palace one), it is about a 15-20 minute walk away. The Neo is however much closer to the shopping area of Brighton and more specifically an area called the 'The Lanes'. It took us about 5 minutes to get to the centre of town by foot and was really quite a pleasant walk. Also the hotel is around a 10 minute walk away from the seafront and is closest to the ...
