When you book you can choose which room you want and don't just get put in a 1 bedroom room because you're a couple, whenever me or my mum and dad have stayed we have had one of the family suites despite there being only 2 people staying. The rooms are a great size with lots of wardrobe space, a dressing table and a couple of chairs by the patio doors out onto the balcony. The Ponsmere Hotel is located right on the cliff top in the village of Perranporth. Perranporth is a small village on the North coast of Cornwall close to Newquay, around 7 miles away I think. Perranporth itself is only small but I think it has everything you could need. There are a couple of small supermarkets; a Spar and a Costcutter, a few souvenir shops, a couple of the usual surf shops, a bakers and a butchers. There are various restaurants in the village centre too, An Italian, an Indian and a couple of traditional pubs serving good English food! Uncomfy bed, basic things not up to scratch Good location, cheap and clean. If people don't read up on the hotel properly they will be disappointed.
