When you book you can choose which room you want and don't just get put in a 1 bedroom room because you're a couple, whenever me or my mum and dad have stayed we have had one of the family suites despite there being only 2 people staying. The Ponsmere Hotel is located right on the cliff top in the village of Perranporth. Perranporth is a small village on the North coast of Cornwall close to Newquay, around 7 miles away I think. Perranporth itself is only small but I think it has everything you could need. There are a couple of small supermarkets; a Spar and a Costcutter, a few souvenir shops, a couple of the usual surf shops, a bakers and a butchers. There are various restaurants in the village centre too, An Italian, an Indian and a couple of traditional pubs serving good English food!
