      Very helpful

Great B&B, totally loved it, can't wait to go back!

The B&B was at the North end of Loch Ness and is on the East side. It takes approximately 45 minutes to get there from Inverness Airport, and it is approximately 18 miles away. The infrastructure isn't great, as we drove out of the tiny road from the airport we were already in the middle of no-where, but it's lovely.
The property was set in an amazing area of Loch Ness close to a small village called Dores, this village is rather small but does have a great pub located on the main road through the village but also on the loch itself, so the garden has amazing views. The pub serves both food and drink.
      The B&B.

The B&B is quite large and was purpose built for tourism, it has a great layout and is very spacious, there are 3 bedrooms, 2 large doubles, one with a front view and the other doesn't, and a twin. There is a breakfast room, with tables and set out like a café.
We stayed in the front double, the room was spacious and comfortable with towels, shampoo and soap provided. The room also held a television, fridge and hairdryer. The room was to a very high standard of cleanliness and furnished modernly but homely throughout the bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The bed was a large double and very comfy!! The B&B offered computer access on their own PC and had wifi.

In the room was also a handy booklet made by John & Glen (the owners) about Pottery House and the surrounding areas, we found this very helpful and useful and visited Foyers Falls because of it. (We didn't know it even existed until we read the booklet).

The view was brilliant overlooking the Loch, in the summer the tree's can block some of the view but you can still see the Loch and it is an amazing view even with the trees. In the winter I can imagine it is a clearly views as the trees would have shed their leaves.

The B&B had parking facilities and was set back off the road. You do not hear anything - so peaceful!!

As for John & Glen, both were very helpful and really nice blokes. They helped, along with the furnishings create a homely atmosphere where we felt we could ask them anything and be comfortable in their home.

Breakfast was lovely, both of us are quite fussy and we asked for a mix of things from the menu which John & Glen happily provided (the best fry up I've had in a long time).
      January - April £34
      May-September £38
      October - December £34
      *Single supplements are available.
(Breakfast is quite obviously included hence the B&B name)

Overall this B&B is most definitely the best I have stayed in (and I travel a fair bit). We both enjoyed it and would highly recommend it to anyone, we ourselves would definitely go back & will hopefully do so not in the too distant future.
