Introduction. The B&B was at the North end of Loch Ness and is on the East side. It takes approximately 45 minutes to get there from Inverness Airport, and it is approximately 18 miles away. The infrastructure isn't great, as we drove out of the tiny road from the airport we were already in the middle of no-where, but it's lovely. The property was set in an amazing area of Loch Ness close to a small village called Dores, this village is rather small but does have a great pub located on the main road through the village but also on the loch itself, so the garden has amazing views. My sister and I recently stayed a night at the Pottery House bed and breakfast, and I loved it so much I suggested it be added to the site, just so I could rave about it...So here you go! The Pottery House is a modern bed and breakfast located in the small town of Dores, which runs along Loch Ness in Scotland. As part of a short trip to Scotland, we travelled up a day early to see the Loch and take in a bit of local culture. Booking the room was quick and simple, the Pottery House has a very easy to use website and we booked and paid for our room with no hassles.
