Advantages: Centrally located

Disadvantages: Get easily lost!

My Friend and I both bought each other trips to London to see a show for our 21sts. One in Sept and one just last week in May... Both times we have went to London we have stayed at this hotel and thought it was a great hotel.

It is a large hotel with over 1,400 rooms which include twin, double and triple rooms. Both times we have stayed here it has been twin rooms.

Checking into the hotel at 2pm can be a bit of a nightmare because this is a popular hotel and you can wait for up to an hour to get checked into your room. Altho majority of the staff are forgein they can speak good English and can always help you or advise you. I would advise if you are planning on arriving around the 2ish mark to check in, arrive extra early, or wait in the bar across from Reception until the queues have gone down.

We checked into our hotel around 3pm on the 2nd occasion we arrived, there is plenty of ways to get to your room due to there being so many lifts and hidden stair ways. We were lucky enough to find our room first time 5th floor.. On getting into our room, we were impressed with the room, altho it was standard was nice, two single beds, a unit with mirror and chair for you to get ready and ladies put on your make up. The unit had a television on it which has your normal 1-5 channels.. Our room also had a wardrobe with some coat hangers which you can hang clothes up, there is not many right enough but I am sure these can be requested. Each room has a bath room with sink/bath and shower. These are very basic but what more do you want? If you are like me and my friend you will just be using it to get washed and do the toilet. Only thing we did not like about our room this time, was the view, we were looking straight into another building, infact if we stuck our hand out far enough I am sure we could have touched the other building.

I would advice anyone going to this hotel (ladies I mean) bring hairdryers with you. The rooms do not have any hairdryers and you have to pay a £20 deposit to hire one for the weekend, I know it is only a desposit and you get it back but trust me when you see the dyer you will think £20 for that!!!

Towels and bed sheets are changed daily and if you require more towels or anything these can be obtained from the room were you can hire items ie hairdryer.

The hotel has a bar located inside the hotel and a bar located to the side of the hotel, (front entrance) with a beer garden into the courtyard.. The the bar to the side you can purchase bar snacks(food) ie burger and chips, fish and chips etc.. and these are all very reasonable priced as well as the drinks as well.

The hotel has machine which enable you to access the internet for £1 you get 15 mins. It also have vending machines which contain juices and water for £1 and crisps and chocolate for the price you would pay around the corner shop.

The breakfast in the morning in normally continetial unless you specify Full English (extra charge for this). Continetial is ok but I would advise paying the extra for the full english as you get your favourites like bacon, sausages, eggs, hash browns, beans etc.. Breakfast is served between 7.00 and 10.00am (it may be 7.30 and 10.30) I can't remember we were always down about 8.30ish.. Even hungover haha

The hotel is located very centrally to supermarkets, shops, and underground stations which take you to all underground stations in london (of course with a few changes depending on where you are wanting to go)

I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Prices vary please check website for prices, book in advance for discounts.. Late minute booking as well gives good discounts
