We received a warm friendly welcome and check-in was very simple as we took the registration form to our room, completed it there and handed it back when convenient. The rooms are named after the American Presidents (hence 'The White House' theme) and we stayed in the Reagan Room. This was a beautifully decorated double room with crisp white linen and red soft furnishings and curtains. Our room had a small en suite bathroom consisting of a toilet, basin and shower. My husband and I recently went to the New Forrest on a spur-of-the-moment short break and I found 'The White House' for a very reasonable price on laterooms.com (£59 per night for both of us including breakfast). Christchurch is a delightful seaside village on the edge of the New Forrest. The White house is only 5 - 10 minutes walk from the beach.
