I recently stayed at a Thistle hotel. There was only 1 problem, it was in Irvine Scotland so there wasn't much to do. This meant we would be able to spend more time at the hotel. Me, being lazy found this very good! They had their own nice golf course, a swimming pool, a jaccuzi, a lagoon area, a pool table and a fantastic resturant. Breakfast was excellant - it was a full fry up with a help yourself as much as you like deal.. I can also quite honestly say that i had the nicest lasagna of my life there for dinner!
