Advantages: Not a bad location, cheap prices on a sunday, pleasant experience.

Disadvantages: Could perhaps be more central?

Stayed here for one night on a two day visit to Central London, and overall my experience was definately a positive one. Our party stayed in a double room and a twin room, and we did make use of the breakfast buffet.

Not being from London, and therefore not knowing its geography amazingly well, I first tried to find this place by walking. No luck. Even asked a police man and he had never heard of it either, so tip number one is look at a map, and plan your route ahead if you plan on walking from the train station. Luckily, the taxi driver I eventually resorted to knew exactly where it was (as is usually the case), but instead of getting there free minus some calories, I had to pay for the taxi journey (which are never cheap in London).

Once we got the place, the staff at the desk were very pleasant. We were issued with the electronic cards that are used instead of keys for hotel rooms nowadays, and the rooms were clean and inviting. The bed linens smelt fresh and therefore was no issue with the ensuite in either room. Unfortunately, the view wasn't excellent, simply more hotel rooms and a couple of dead pigeons on a roof.

I did find that when I stayed at the hotel, it was rather quiet, and I didn't really hear any guests passing the door. It was a little bit confusing finding the right floor, and even the elevators, but after a bit of practise this wasn't really an issue.

The night was very comfortable, and so was breakfast the following morning. The typical bacon, egg, mushrooms etc all on hot plates, you could take what you wanted. We checked out, and had a very pleasant time at this hotel, totally unproblematic, and not far from Kings Cross Underground station. Highly recommended.

* Watch out for some of the homeless people around the hotel. I'm sure the majority are very nice, but there were a few giving my wallet suspicious looks through my pocket.

Summary: I would recommend this hotel, and would stay there again.
