Tor View (Cornwall) Hotel National

Newest Review: ... The cottage is a very spacious 4 bedroomed and 2 bathroom spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished place. There is nothing at all that you want for. It is situated in beautiful grounds and has it's own private fishing lake. The addition since our last visit of a hot pool is fantastic and is certainly a lovely way to relax. It is central to all the main tourist locations as well as beaches and the Eden project. Just a mile or so up the road is The local inn which has a good restaurant and a warm welcoming atmosphere. There are also local shops to hand. As well as this spacious accomodation the owners do all they can to make the... more

This is the second time that we have stayed at Tor View Cottage, and as usual Helen and Rob who own the cottage gave us a wonderful warm welcome. We have just come back from a really restful holiday in Cornwall. We booked a cottage through Recommended Cottages the name of the cottage was Torview, in Trebell Green, Bodmin. The cottage had 4 bedrooms, 2 Double, 1 Twin and one with a cabin bed and a single bed. It has 2 Bathrooms one upstairs and one downstairs, both having a shower which is situated inside the bath. A very long sitting room, which has been lovely, decorated with brasses and decorative plates, a wood burning stove at the far end, which kept us cosy on the winding and cold evening. A fully fitted kitchen, with every thing you could possible need, which leads through to a dining room which ...  Read the complete review

I have only been on one cottage holiday before and it was a disaster, the place looked nothing like the blurb, the owners were unfriendly and unhelpful etc. So I was a bit wary about booking another one. However with a largish family desperate for a holiday and not wanting to brave it camping at the end of October we decided to give it another bash. We were very glad we did. We booked a cottage in Cornwall through Recommended Cottages. We wanted some peace and quiet, somewhere where the kids could have room to run around without worrying about being run over. We chose a cottage called Tor View in a little hamlet called Trebell Green near Bodmin. ...  Read the complete review
