Advantages: good treats in the room, comfy bed, friendly and safe
Disadvantages: nothing
Last week I was driving down to England on my holidays I have been away all week and visited many places. Not too many but I can review many more things. I had been on the road for a while but was getting tired so I saw a Travel Lodge and so I went there but reception was closed. Luckily enough a nice cleaner told me that accross the road was a Travel Inn so I stopped off there but there was no room at the Inn. I was given a leaflet with all of the nearest inns and decided to phone one. I phoned one which I hadn't intended on phoning because it was meant to open summer 2002 so I didn't think it would have opened. Then by accident I phoned it look at the wrong number and someone answered the phone. I booked with my credit card and had a place. I was confused at first finding it but then I safely got there. It was not easy to fin because unlike the usual ones right next to a motorway this one is a little bit in the middle of a town. My map had helped and I went to the reception. The receptionists were very helpful and one was in training since this was a brand new travell inn. At first my name didn't show up and I was in a panic but after minutes my problem was solved and I was handed the card to my room. I felt very safe in here because there was a door before the corridor of rooms where I had to put in my card to show I was booked in. Then I used the card for my room. To check my room closed safely I opened it from inside but I just didn't understand how it locked then I noticed it automatically locked because when outside noone could get in but I could easily open it from inside. I know the way I explain things is quite confusing but I hope it's easy to understand. Inside there was a big room with a nice bed, television and wardrobe. Just what I needed for the night to get a good sleep which is what travel inn's believe in. There were also snacks left which was nice hot chocolate, coffee, tea a
nd biscuits. If I needed anymore I could go to reception and ask. There was an en suite bathroom which was quite posh looking and nice since I didn't expect a lot from a travel inn. There were also clean towels etc. When I had been at the reception earlier they had asked me if I wanted a paper in the morning which was nice. They had also told me about eating because every Travel Inn is always next to amin restaurant. The one I was near was Big Steak (Brown Cow) and the meals were very nice and I had my breakfast. Not too pricey but I couldn't eat this way every day. I had a great sleep and I had to be out of my room by 12 which suited me perfectly fine. I had a safe drive home and would definitely recommend a Travel Inn. The price is £42.95 a night, not as much as a Travel Lodge and also you may pay extra for meals but it still works out cheaper.
