Newest Review: ... walking distance, which was not too far from the ferry port at Dover. We arrived at about 7pm when there was quite a lot of activity, people coming in and out, but we were checked in quite quickly and were able to go to our rooms within about ten minutes. Our rooms were on the second floor and because we had some bags with us we decided to take the lift which was quite small and seemed to take a long time to arrive. The room was fairly standard for a Travelodge, big double bed, sofabed, desk, tea/coffee making facilities and bathroom. I stayed at this hotel for two nights either side of a trip to France in October 2008 and found it to be a decent hotel for the purpose of our trip. We had stayed at a Premier Inn the previous year and didn't particularly like it, so based on a previous stay with Travelodge we decided to book with them. I had done some research and the hotel itself was located on a leisure park just off the motorway. It has a Little Chef, KFC, Frankie & Benny's and Pizza Hut for food and a cinema, health and fitness club and a couple of nightclubs for entertainment.
