Well, it's a Travelodge. That means no frills but clean, and certainly this fulfilled the criteria. We paid £19 for a family room during one of the online special offer releases of rooms, and 4 of us slept reasonably comfortably. Facilities: Be warned, what you save on the room you can end up paying for in extras. I paid £3.20 for a small bottle of lager in the bar. I travel with my work sometimes and I had to stay in this hotel chain in July last year overnight, it was very good, it was a comfortable stay, the room I stayed in was a double room, with a comfy double generous sized bed for 2 people,and it the room had a large bathroom and wardrobe space and a trouser press, it had an electric heater, although it was not needed, there were 2 clean towels and extra blankets and pillows if needed, it had everything I wanted, even a kettle and tea, coffee sachets and sugar and little pots of milk. ***Blackpool South Shore Travelodge*** I know that Travelodge's can get a bad press, but we have stopped in a few and have generally had good experiences. We stopped there for one night, whilst we visiting Blackpool to go to The Sandcastle and The Pleasure Beach. ***Booking*** I am sure it is common knowledge but booking ahead is going to save you money. I booked this hotel back in January when they had one of their promotions going. I paid the grand sum of £9 for this family room, which could have slept four.
