The Travelodge in Brentwood is actually situated about 5 miles outside of Brentwood in east Horndon. It is located just off the A127 next to a Little Chef and a privately owned pub. It in only a small hotel and there are two different types of room available to book - double rooms or family rooms. We were going to Brentwood for a long weekend and wanted somewhere cheap to stay for four nights. This was the cheapest option and it wasn't until we got there did we realise why.
