In November I received an email from Travel Lodge informing me of their sale of rooms in some of their hotels. We had been planning a trip to Edinburgh to do some Christmas and visit friends so decided to see what was on offer in the area. As I wanted to be able to park without having to pay overnight I decided on the Travel Lodge at Dreghorn, 6 miles from the city centre. If you do decide to book a travel Lodge in the city be aware most have no parking and you will have to pay to park elsewhere.
