Newest Review: ... and took advantage of the £19.00 a room offers that they sometimes have on. The room came up as a double disabled when booking online and when we arrived were moved to a standard double. The first room we were swapped to didn't really meet the standard of cleanliness that I would expect of a hotel room. The bath was dirty and had hairs still in from the previous guests. We managed to get a spot just outside the hotel and didn't move it because there were probably 10-15 spaces at the front and a small overflow around the back (nearly always full throughout our stay). Be aware there are a lot of travelodges in central Edinburgh, so we were first taken to the wrong one! A taxi from Waverley station cost about £7 if we hadn't gotten lost, although Haymarket is actually closer if your train stops there. ... Read the complete review
