We've been wanting to go for a weekend in Edinburgh for quite a while, so when travelodge had a £10 a night room sale on we jumped to go. We got the Friday night for £10 and the Saturday for £19, which was still a great bargain. You can check in from 3pm, so we did have to spend a fair bit of time carrying heavy bags before we could go up to the hotel, so by the time we could go drop off the bags we decided to get a taxi. Be aware there are a lot of travelodges in central Edinburgh, so we were first taken to the wrong one!
