I stayed at the Kings Cross, London Travelodge as part of a football hospitality package. The hotel is a short, easy 5 minute walk from the station. Initial impressions was good- the foyer was large and airy, the reception staff were pleasant. We were checked in swiftly and shown to our room. Our room was surprisingly large, nice decorated with a tv, tea and coffee making facilities, telephone, internet connection and a hairdryer. The bedding was clean and the beds soft and comfortable.

We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast was buffet style and possibly one of the best i`ve had in England. There was a wide range of cereals, toast and breads, pastries, muffins, juices, yoghurts etc. The cooked section contained eggs, bacon, sausages, black pudding, fried toast, tomatoes, beans etc. The quality of the food was good and the food was always replenished and plentiful.

Our check out was as smooth as our check in. A taxi was rung through for us and we were on our way again. I would definetly recommend a stay at the Travelodge Kings Cross.
