Disadvantages: staff at petrol station

Booked this for three nights including cancellation insudarnce. Then had to cancel booking because the person we were to se at Cambridge University was going to hospital. Then shortly afterwards her head of department said he could see us but for only two days. Now had to book for two days and no refund for the previous booking.
Lodge was clean and functional. The Little Chef attachement was good. On the Tuesday at lunchtime went to petrol station(TOTAL) and bought two newspapers and sandwich. The lady at the desk was concentrating on the till but nevertheless had sense to tell me to place the goods on bottom shelf and not close to her! She was distracted and working with taking cash out of the till. She then rang up my purchases to come to just over £5. I offered her a £20 note and she asked ' did I have anything smaller?' I said i didnt which then prompted our lade to mutter audibly and loudly 'BASTARD' I said 'Pardon' but got no response. So if you wish courteous staff at a petrol station DO NOT GO NEAR THE TOTAL STATION ON A14
