Recently we visited London for New Years Eve and tried our best to get somewhere decent to stay. However, we ended up in a Travelodge. One of the more annoying aspects of our visit to the Travelodge was the ten pound payment we were asked to pay to get into our rooms one hour early. Because we were a little early and we wanted to dump our bags down before going out and about I n town, we thought a little more goodwill cheer would have been nice - not so.
