Advantages: Location

Disadvantages: Uncomfortable bed

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during the first week of June. It is close to the shopping centre and fairly close to the train station which made it ideal, I thought.

The room was very basic but clean. No air conditioning and very hot so the window had to be kept open at night which made the room noisier, though as it was on the back it wasn't too bad. The bed was terrible, one of the worst hotel beds I have ever slept in. Soft, saggy and extremely lumpy, we also had to ask for extra pillows.

We paid for the breakfast on line, which made it slightly cheaper but it ws not worth what we paid for it. There was only 2 kinds of juice, yoghurts, sliced oranges and grapefruit, cereals and pastries which were o k, but when it came to the cooked breakfast it was terrible. There was solid and dried up scramble eggs, bacon was o k, and dried up baked beans and a not very nice looking dry sausages. It was definitely not worth what we paid and if I hadn't paid ahead I would not have had it on the second morning.

The staff were helpful, but I would not recommend or return to this hotel.

Summary: Good for 1 night stay
