This Travelodge located in the centre of Watford hasn't been open that long and offers residents the opportunity to stay in the centre for a reasonable price. I've stayed in quite a few travelodges across the UK & I would say this is one of the more upmarket ones in comparison to some of the others, it's clean, modern & even has a bar serving drinks & light snacks.

I've noticed though whichever Travellodge you stay in, the rooms look totally identical even down to the colours the walls are painted. So it's difficult to compare them really but the room I stayed in here was relatively clean & tidy. There was also wifi which I found quite useful.

Although the place itself doesn't have its own car park, there is a multi storey one which is walking distance away. However this is charged by the hour so the price can quickly build up. You can stay for a 24 hour period for around £15 so if you are bringing a car, the room may not work out so cheap after all.

Overall this Travellodge offers a decent priced room in the Centre of Watford, rooms tend to be clean & tidy but don't expect any luxuries. They sometimes do special deals where you can pick up rooms here for as low as £29 which makes them a real bargain.
