Overview ------------ Stayed at the Travelodge York for 1 night in June. We were on a hen do so it seemed the perfect location. Close to the shops, bars and restaurants. The only problem was a stag do on the floor above - very noisy. Price ------- At just £29 for a triple room it wasnt bad at all (worked out at less than a tenner each). We stayed here for one night in June for visiting York as the website states its only 6 miles approximately to York. What they didnt say is that its on a dual carriageway that you can only come off and go onto from one direction so this meant a number of miles journey each time we came back from York so not ideal in that respect. The hotel itself was not the best Travelodge we have stayed in by any means. The bathroom had stains on the tiles and the hot water was scalding and the cold was hot, neither with any warnings.
