Overview

Stayed at the Travelodge York for 1 night in June. We were on a hen do so it seemed the perfect location. Close to the shops, bars and restaurants. The only problem was a stag do on the floor above - very noisy.

Price

At just £29 for a triple room it wasnt bad at all (worked out at less than a tenner each). Im sure some rooms are cheaper if you look for a broker but we booked direct so we could add more/less rooms etc.

Location

Great location. Within easy reach of night life and shops. The hotel is around a 15 minute walk from the train station or a 2 minute taxi journey. (i would recommend the taxi, especially if youre wearing heels!)

Room
--------
The room was clean but a little bland and boring. I suppose however you get what you pay for and we were more than happy with the room for the money. There was tea and coffee facilities in the room along with an en suite and TV.

Overall
---------
Well worth the money - central hotel for outskirts prices. Great Weatherspoons next door for breakfast. Would recommend but prehaps not for families with young children. A must for hen or stag parties.

Summary: great, cheap place to stay.
