Firstly the atmosphere is not starchy at ... more ... all....all of the staff are helpful , friendly and well used to children.You truly feel as if you can relax...noone will be staring at your children in disdain!!! A lot of the accomodation is for families..they have wonderful suites consisting of several rooms for larger families...we always indulge ourselves in one of these suites.. The facilities in the hotal for kids are great...they have regular activities arranged for them each day. The first thing that drew us to this hotel 10 years ago was its fantastic position adjacent to the most glorious sweep of sandy beach... The north cornwall coastline is rugged and spectacular at this point...surfing is the "in " thing here...other pastimes include rock pooling, sand castle building and for the more energetic..walking along the coastal path that passes throught the hotel grounds. Really the hotel need not be very special ...it could only win being situated here...BUT...believe me it is!!
