Dave, my partner, has now got a job as an IT Consultant and as such has to travel all over the United Kingdom. I usually try and help him find a decent hotel using www.smoothhound.co.uk and, if its convenient I have been know to accompany him. This is how I found The Watermill Hotel in Paisley. Dave had got to visit Renfrew Council so I sorted out the hotel for him and offered to go with him for some company on the drive, which would be about four hours.
