The Westley Hotel in Acocks Green, Birmingham, is very proud of itself. I'm not sure why. It is easy enough to find, close to the A45 and Birmingham International airport. There is plenty of car parking space around the back and it is a member of the Best Western chain. They do have a very nice Amdega conservatory, but as it looks out onto the 1C Birmingham bus route, it lacks a little romance. Reception is rather dismal, with dark carpets and furnishings and dark wood everywhere. The staff will help you if you tell them what to do, but don't expect proactive service.
