Whitworth Falls Hotel (Southport) ... The hotel is well placed in a quiet part of Southport, yet close to all attractions and amenities. The famous Lord street shops are just a short stroll away, and so too are the Theatre and Floral Hall, the marine lake, beach and promenade. Golfers will find the municipal golf links just around the corner and there are at least seven other excellent courses within easy reach.

As usual, the concern is that the walk back to the hotel is more than a quick dash and so, should the weather prove unfavourable, precautions in the form of an umbrella would be needed ...  Read the complete review
