Whitworth Falls Hotel (Southport)

I stayed in the Whitworth Falls Hotel on June 23rd 2008 for one night and must say that I found nothing but positives with the establishment. The hosts were most friendly and welcoming. The single room I stayed in was large, with 2 comfortable single beds and like the en-suite facilities, spotlessly clean. Tea, coffee and buscuits are laid out for guests, with TV set included. The Hotel is just a few hundred yards north of the main Town Centre in a most pleasant street a few seconds away from the Promenade, which is a lovely walk. So, here we are back in Southport again and once again looking for acceptable quality accommodation at a reasonable price. Once again, Google was the means for our search and this time the hotel it identified that attracted my attention was the Whitworth Falls Hotel in Lathom Road. I did give this one some thought before deciding to give it a try. It is further from the Town Centre and also the location at the north end of Lord Street which is always the reason for our visit.
