I write mainly in defence of this hotel against bearpiglet's review. I notice that she has had 370 readers of her review, with the majority finding it "very useful". I would strongly refute her findings. My family stayed here over half term (26/30 Oct 09), from the moment we entered the hotel, we were treated as friends. The rooms were more than adequate, clean, TV, tea & coffee facilities, sink, shower (with curtain). just to let anyone looking at this know, the picture up there isnt us. i dont know where that is, or what that hotel is called, but it isnt us im afraid. looks very nice though.

HI i have been going to the winterbourne hotel for many years. Infact to many to remember!!! I have always found all the staff most welcoming, infact i have made many friends at the hotel, including Anthony, David and Margaret. I also have made and become good friends of Karen and Matt. We spend every summer at the winterbourne with a group of adults with learning difficulties and we have done of the last 18 years we always have a fantastic time. The hotel is a great,with good home cooked food and fantastic staff!!! keep up the good work!!!!

The Winterbourne hotel in Blackpool is a great place.I have spent christmas there for the past 5 years.except this year as I had to work most of xmas.the owners Matt and karen are lovely down to earth friendly people who are great fun.good entertainment with a late bar and good food as well.yes its not the Ritz but it is an gr8 budget hotel which is very clean.the staff are great as well.best wishes April in ...
