I write mainly in defence of this hotel against bearpiglet's review. I notice that she has had 370 readers of her review, with the majority finding it "very useful". I would strongly refute her findings. My family stayed here over half term (26/30 Oct 09), from the moment we entered the hotel, we were treated as friends. The rooms were more than adequate, clean, TV, tea & coffee facilities, sink, shower (with curtain). The bar lounge was excellent, with drinks prices actually less than any of my local pubs, which was a big bonus. We spend every summer at the winterbourne with a group of adults with learning difficulties and we have done of the last 18 years we always have a fantastic time. The hotel is a great,with good home cooked food and fantastic staff!!! keep up the good work!!!!
